Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have. In short: the calculators run in your browser, we count deal clicks without knowing who clicked, and we don't sell your data.

Who we are

NexMaxo (“we”, “us”) operates nexmaxo.com: Shop deals (deals from Indian online stores, each checked against the product's own price history) and Money tools (free financial calculators, rates and guides). This policy covers both. You can reach us at hello@nexmaxo.com.

Information we collect

Our calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are not sent to or stored on our servers unless you choose to sign in and save them (see “Accounts” below). We store small preferences (such as your chosen currency and light/dark theme) in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them on your next visit. On Shop deals, your Watching list, recently viewed products and grid/list choice are kept the same way, in your browser only. You can use the entire site without an account; without one we do not collect your name, email or financial details unless you choose to email us.

Accounts (optional)

You can optionally create an account so the site saves your calculator inputs and restores them when you come back. One account works on both Shop deals and Money tools. If you do, we store your email address and the inputs you save (the values you enter, kept per calculator) through our authentication and database provider, Supabase. We use this only to power your account and sync your saved inputs — we do not sell it and we do not use it for marketing email. Your saved data is protected so that only your signed-in account can read or change it. You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and saved data by emailing hello@nexmaxo.com.

Price alerts (Shop deals)

If you set a price alert, we store the product, the target price you chose and your account's email address. When the price reaches your target we email you, through our email provider ZeptoMail (Zoho). Alerts need a signed-in account with a verified email, and only your account can see or remove them. You can remove an alert at any time on the Price alerts page.

Deal clicks and affiliate links

When you click through from Shop deals to a store, we record which deal was clicked and when — not who clicked — and use the counts to rank bestsellers. Many links to stores (on Shop deals and in Money tools) are affiliate links: if you buy, the store or an affiliate network may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. Some links are converted automatically by our affiliate partner Cuelinks, whose script runs on the site. Stores and affiliate networks may set their own cookies to credit the sale; once you leave nexmaxo.com, the store's own privacy policy applies. See our affiliate disclosure.

If you sign up for the newsletter, we store the email address you enter (with Supabase) and use it only to send you the newsletter. To stop receiving it, email hello@nexmaxo.com.

NexMaxo Pro payments

Payments for NexMaxo Pro are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. We store your plan, its status and its renewal or expiry date so the site knows what you have access to. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Cookies and advertising

We use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to keep the site free. These partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google's gtag.js), on both Shop deals and Money tools, to understand which pages are popular, how visitors move through the site, and where we can improve it. To do this, Google sets cookies and processes usage data — such as the pages you view, your approximate location and device or browser type, and your IP address — to generate aggregated statistics. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to personally identify you, and we do not sell it.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block analytics cookies in your browser settings (see “Managing cookies” below). Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking advertising cookies may mean the ads you see are less relevant, but the calculators will continue to work normally.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
