Loan Tenure
Loans term
The tenure is the total length of a loan — the number of months or years over which you repay it.
A longer tenure lowers the EMI but raises total interest, because the balance is charged interest for more years. Choosing the shortest tenure you can comfortably afford minimises the cost of borrowing.
